MemorialHelper.com was developed after a loss of one of our dearly loved family members.  We were inundated with phone calls, visitors, letters, family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who wanted to know what they could do to help.  Everyone wanted to know the time, date, and location of the memorial service, type of service, what happened,  where to send flowers, discount travel info, and were there any charitable organizations they could contribute to on behalf of our deceased loved one.  In addition, requests poured in for maps/directions and local hotel information.

With the loss of our loved one bearing so heavily on our minds, it was absolutely impossible to manage all the people and questions.  With the overwhelming task of planning a memorial service in such a short period, we felt overwhelming stress and exhaustion -- memorial/burial/cremation arrangements, food, head counts, flowers, invitations, etc. -- was more than anyone could handle.

That's we when our family decided to create a custom web site for our deceased loved one which consisted of valuable memorial service information such as date, time, location, address, maps/directions, as well as an on-line RSVP system to account for the number of guests attending the memorial service.  We also added a special "post a message to the family" section where people could leave their thoughts, prayers, and condolences.  It also included discount travel resources and cope/grief resources.

The web site was very popular and following the memorial service, we received countless inquires from attendees who had visited our loved one's site.  They wanted to know how they could obtain the same service.  That is when our family decided to develop MemorialHelper.com  It was the most valuable tool during our planning process and was absolutely instrumental in pulling off our wonderful ceremony.
